Like poker played in casinos, 1917 Poker is played according to table stakes.

That means:

1. A player cannot bring new chips from his account while the hand is in play. You can take more chips only after the hand is completed.
2. A player cannot cash chips out from a table until he gives up his seat.
3. A player does not risk for more chips than he has on the table at the start of a hand.
4. A player cannot be forced out of a hand by a bet, no matter the size.
5. A player who has put all his chips into the pot is considered all-in, and can win only that portion of the pot that he has matched.
